Abstract

We examine the assumption that the B meson (1220 MeV, JPC=1+) and its chiral partner are gauge fields. This leads to the introduction of an internal SU(6) group which contains SU(3)×SU(3) as a sub-group. We discuss the appropriate formalism and mass degeneracy breaking by means of the use of non-linear realizations of the group.
