Abstract

The role of the Z*'s is discussed on the basis that the badly broken nonchiral SU(2)×SU(2) internal symmetry is also relevant for the classification of hadronic states, complementing the well-established broken SU(3) symmetry. If we assume that the Z*'s belong to (½,½) representation of SU(2)×SU(2), we can expect one or more sets of Z0* and Z1*. Each (Z0*,Z1*) set is nearly mass degenerate and has the same spin and parity.
