Abstract

A Veneziano model is proposed for the reaction πpηn. This reaction is interesting since only the A2 trajectory can contribute in the t channel, and only T=12 trajectories appear in the s and u channels. We limit the terms in our model to those which have leading asymptotic behavior in two channels. We emphasize the intimate connection between resonance parameters and both forward and backward cross sections.
