Abstract
We examine the satisfaction of the leading trajectory factorization constraints in the context of duality as expressed by the Veneziano model. We find that amplitudes are best constructed using a larger dependent set of amplitudes linearly related by non-numerical coefficients. We require some amplitudes to be effectively leading in one channel but not in a crossed channel. Our discussion is centered on the example .
