Abstract
It is shown that the contamination due to decaying into cannot explain the enhancement in the system reported earlier in the reaction for an incident pion momentum of 3.65 GeV/c. A more likely explanation is provided by the suggestion that the enhancement is primarily due to the distortion of the phase space by a -band cut.
