Phenomenological Model for a Possible Failure of the Pomeranchuk Theorem

Abstract
The author proposes a phenomenological model for a possible failure of the Pomeranchuk theorem. This predicts the following relations among asymptotic total cross sections: , , , , and . All of these are consistent with the recent Serpukhov data.
