Abstract

The average cascade time of K mesons has been measured in a helium bubble chamber. In a sample of about 36 000 stopped K, 44τ decays at rest were found, corresponding to a cascade time of (3.2±0.5)×1010 sec. This result agrees with a previous measurement.
