Abstract

A new V−γ coupling constant relation is obtained. It rests on a previously derived relation and the modification involved in going from the Proca to the Duffin-Kemmer-Petiau formalism. This relation is validated by comparison of Γ(V→e+e−) for ψ−ψ′ and ρ−ω−φ mesons, which groups' masses differ greatly. It shows that ψ−ψ′ are consistent with a (modified) Han-Nambu model.
