Parity nonconservation in high-transverse-momentum collisions

Abstract
It is suggested that the suppression of strong-interaction cross sections at large transverse momenta could make possible the detection of parity-nonconserving weak effects in high-energy collisions. A parton-model calculation for gives parity-nonconserving effects of the order of which could be detectable by presently available techniques.
