Abstract

New closed forms of the inelastic form factors and structure functions $W_{1} (ν, Q^{2})$ , $W_{2} (ν, Q^{2})$ as a function of two variables have been obtained in an infinite-multiplet model. The relativistic H atom and a model of the pion are special cases. The nonrelativistic limit in the former case agrees with the result of Massey and Mohr. For the latter case a special situation which leads to scaling is discussed in detail.
