Magnon-skyrmion scattering in chiral magnets

Understanding interactions between skyrmions and magnons is an active area of research pursued by several groups. The authors of this manuscript present a comprehensive analytical theory for the effects of skyrmions on the magnon spectrum that can lead to a topological magnon Hall effect. Conversely, magnons affect the dynamics of skyrmions via an effective reactive force resulting in a large skyrmion Hall effect.
