Abstract
For the structure of insulator/magneto-optical/insulator the magneto-optical Kerr rotation can be tailored between -90° and 90° at any wavelength in the visible range, by adjusting the constituent layer thickness. To give a numerical illustration, is taken as an example. This result will be helpful for high-density magneto-optical storage technique.
