Abstract

The intercalated Li in LixMo6Se8 separates into regions of high and low concentration below a critical temperature Tc=267 K. The phase diagram agrees with a mean-field solution to a lattice-gas model of intercalation in LixMo6Se8. The implications of this agreement are considered.
