Abstract

The Mo94(p,t)Mo92 and Mo96(p,t)Mo94 reactions have been studied at an incident proton energy of 31 MeV. The triton spectra were obtained with a magnetic spectrograph with overall resolution of about 20 keV. Experimental angular distributions are compared with two-nucleon-transfer distorted-wave Born-approximation calculations to extract spin-parity assignments and enhancement factors. Particular emphasis is placed on the study of the L=0 transitions near the closed shell at 50 neutrons.
