Isotopic asymmetry and Coulomb interactions in heavy-ion collisions

Abstract
The effects of the isotopic asymmetry of colliding nuclei and the Coulomb interactions are simultaneously considered for an equilibrated hadron gas produced in heavy-ion collisions. The asymmetry in the production of negative and positive pions which is manifested in the differences in the and multiplicities and in the shape of their momentum spectra is analyzed.
