Abstract

The effects of the isotopic asymmetry of colliding nuclei and the Coulomb interactions are simultaneously considered for an equilibrated hadron gas produced in heavy-ion collisions. The asymmetry in the production of negative and positive pions which is manifested in the differences in the π and π+ multiplicities and in the shape of their momentum spectra is analyzed.
