Study of the Matrix Element for Decay of , , and by the () Reaction

Abstract
The ratio for the first-forbidden decay has been studied to discuss the composition of . Experimental values of and are estimated from values and from the matrix element. The latter was obtained from the () reaction through the isobaric analog states in , , and . The experimental value of the ratio was compared with the theory using a -coupling shell model. The result shows good agreement for but not always good agreement for and .
