Abstract

We compute the effect of short-range correlations on the displacement energy (energy difference between the analog and the parent state) to first order in perturbation theory, using the plane-wave approximation for intermediate states. Both the contributions of the Coulomb interaction and of a charge-dependent component of the nuclear two-body interaction are taken into account.
