Abstract
Assuming isospin conservation, we perform an analysis of the two-nucleon transfer reactions () and (, ) on a target with isospin going to analog final states with . Formulas for the relevant cross sections are given which explicitly show the isospin dependence of the transferred pair. When restricted to pair transfer, our result is more general than that recently derived by Hardy, Brunnader, and Cerny.
