Abstract

Assuming isospin conservation, we perform an analysis of the two-nucleon transfer reactions (p, t) and (p, He3) on a target with isospin Ti going to analog final states with Tf=Ti. Formulas for the relevant cross sections are given which explicitly show the isospin dependence of the transferred pair. When restricted to T=1 pair transfer, our result is more general than that recently derived by Hardy, Brunnader, and Cerny.
