Ground-State Quasirotational Bands to 8+ in Te114126 Produced by (α, xn)

Abstract

Measurements of the γ spectra, time distributions, angular distributions, and excitation functions of γ rays from (α, 2n) and (α, 4n) reactions producing the vibrators Te114126 reveal that the most prominent γ rays are in 8+6+4+2+0+ cascades. The energies and intensities exhibit remarkably regular systematics.
