Abstract

Expansions, involving the Airy integrals, of the functions FL(η, ρ), GL(η, ρ) are obtained from a study of the Coulomb wave equation. These expansions are convergent in the region |ρρ1|<ρ1, where ρ1=η+[η2+L(L+1)]12.
