Abstract

Measurements have been made on the penetration through iron by ${Cs}^{137}$ , ${Co}^{60}$ , and ${Na}^{24}$ gamma radiation in plane parallel geometry. Good agreement was obtained between the experimental transmissions and theoretical values computed from Spencer's polynomial method.
