Abstract
The deviation from linearity of straight electron tracks appearing in a cloud chamber has been measured and found to be in agreement with that predicted by the theory of multiple scattering insofar as the energy of the electrons is known. The method described could be easily modified to give a more valuable and exact check on the theory of multiple scattering.
