The Production of Extremely Short Electromagnetic Waves

Abstract

Electromagnetic waves with wave-lengths ranging from approximately 2.2 mm to 0.2 mm were produced. The intensity in the spectra of wire gratings was sufficient to permit absorption measurements to be made. A check of the wave-length assignment was obtained by the use of the first three rotation lines of HI.
