Magnetic Properties of Solid Solutions. III. The Paramagnetic Alloys of Copper and Nickel

Abstract
The magnetization of the paramagnetic alloys of copper with nickel has been studied as a function of temperature and applied field. It is found that a Curie-Weiss equation cannot represent the results and an equation of the form is found to be satisfactory. Alloys in the range from 30 to 38 percent nickel showed a considerable field dependence of the susceptibility at low temperatures.
