A New Electron Microscope

Abstract
The design of a high power electron microscope of the transmission type is described. It is constructed as a self-contained unit which may be operated by a practical microscopist who does not necessarily have training as a physicist. Microphotographs are shown which indicate that a resolving power of about 50A can be readily obtained.
