Abstract
Phase shifts of , , , and electrons scattered elastically by a potential appropriate to singly-charged positive ions have been calculated for energies ranging up to 2 Ry above threshold and for selected elements throughout the periodic system. The results are discussed in terms of characteristics of the model potential.
