Abstract
The multiple-scattering distribution function for high-energy electrons scattered from a beryllium foil has been calculated, following a method discussed in an earlier paper. Calculations were done with Thomas-Fermi as well as Hartree-Fock potentials for the beryllium atom. The results obtained with the Hartree-Fock potential were found to be in better agreement with the experimental results.
