Abstract

We propose here two simple experimental tests for Regge cuts. They consist of looking at s(dσdt) for the reactions γ+Nπ0+N and γ+NN*+π0 as a function of s and ϕγ for fixed t, where ϕγ is the angle the polarization vector makes with the scattering plane. The behavior of s(dσdt) at ϕγ=0 determines whether cuts are present or not.
