Abstract
The effect of partially specular boundary scattering upon the magneto-oscillatory component of the kinetic coefficients , and is treated for the case of Fermi surfaces which are figures of revolution about the normal to the plane of a thin crystal, with magnetic field directed along the normal. It is shown that the oscillations consist of the superposition of a fundamental and all its harmonics. Explicit expressions are given for the amplitude dependence upon the fraction of electrons which scatter specularly. In particular it is shown that only the fundamental is present for the case of completely diffuse scattering.
