Abstract

The angular distributions of C12 ions elastically scattered from Fe, Ni, Ag107, In, and Ta have been measured at an energy of 124.5 MeV. The experimental data were analyzed using a parameterized phaseshift analysis. Very good agreement with experiment was obtained. Precise values for absorption radii, surface parameters, and total reaction cross section could be extracted.
