By means of an acoustical method, the elastic constants of this compound were measured. At room temperature they are: $C_{11}=(6.6\mathrm{}\pm 0.3)\times {10}^{11}$, $C_{12}=(3.8\mathrm{}\pm 0.2)\times {10}^{11}$, $C_{44}=(3.0\mathrm{}\pm 0.1)\times {10}^{11}$ dynes/${\mathrm{cm}}^2$.
